Studio Podcast Recording Sessions

$200/hour plus $100/hour for setup and light post-production

Minimum two-hour booking

• Bookings can be made in 2, 4, 6 and 8 hour blocks

In-person recording sessions – host and guest(s) in studio

• The podcast studio can seat up to four people each with their own microphone

• Six camera angles are live switched and each camera feed is also recorded in isolation as a backup for post-production

Remote recording sessions – host in studio with remote guest(s)

• The host is seated in the podcast studio and guests come in through Zoom

• The host looks into a 24” teleprompter for perfect eye line and the ability to see show notes

• Zoom ISO specialty software is used to pass isolated HD video and audio into our video switching system – this process enables us to produce a very professional product using Zoom, an app that all guests are familiar with

In-person – solo

• The host or talent is in studio

• The host looks into a 24” teleprompter for perfect eye line and the ability to read off a scrolling script

• Perfect for scripted presentations and product demostrations

Included post-production

• Audio mastering (equalize and enhance audio)

• Finalize your videos, including remove any obvious mistakes

• Delivery of final files including video (MP4) and audio (WAV) by Dropbox link or copied to a supplied SSD hard drive (1 TB recommended)

Additional pre-production is billed at $100 per hour

• Such as:

  • Adapt supplied graphics to create a simple intro and outro

  • Design lower thirds, backgrounds and special screens

  • Program video switcher and audio mixer scenes specifically for your series

  • For a new series, expect the pre-production process to take approximately four to six hours

Any additional post-production requested is billed at $100 per hour

• Such as:

  • Add intro and outro and lower thirds

  • Adding music, graphics and animations

  • Elaborate editing

  • Upload files directly to your video hosting channels such as YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia

Billing

• Studio recording sessions to be paid in advance

• Additional pre- and post-production time to be tracked, billed and paid prior to delivery of final files

Availability

• Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 and is booked in two-hour blocks; after hours and weekend rentals available with four-hour minimum booking

Cancellation Policy

• More than 7 days prior to use: 100% refunded back to your credit card

• 2-6 days prior to use: $100 + GST cancellation fee; balance refunded to your credit card

• Less than 24 hours prior to use: $200 + GST cancellation fee; balance refunded to your credit card

• “No Show” will be charged 100% of your studio booking; there will be no refund

• There are no refunds or adjustments for late arrivals or early departures
